Brothers Luke and Rory grew up wild on the lush South African coast. Now calling Australia home, they quickly fell in love with the Australian bush and would often enjoy camping trips with best mates Tom and Matt. With a shared passion for health, movement and the outdoors, they drew on the wisdom of African ancestors to create dry steaks, traditionally known as biltong. With their deliciousness in demand, Barbell was formed; jobs were soon quit and parents concerned as their adventure embarked.
